the escape

since i cannot complain over at the other blog, may as well complain here and take the link out from the other side

sick of people trying to move in when i'm not interested and/or not ready yet

a bit irritating

went for one. absolutely zero chemistry whatsoever. sam says that's cause i already discounted him even before i met him. cher says i've already put up walls even before i met him. i was told i compare too much.

i say that's cause he's boring and a bit pretentious. and i have to pretend to be pretentious also.

very strange. pretending to be pretentious.

but i'm always pretentious, in front of people i don't really know that well /don't like that much. like what's the point right, you're not seeing them ever again so it's okay be pretentious. talk rubbish, and confuse the heck out of them, you won't see them ever again! it's okay!

was talking to this guy. let's call him baddate. i ask baddate 'do you believe in horoscopes?' (yes, i was that bored) he immediately came up with a whole spew of reason why horoscopes are hogwash.

i figured he could go both ways. one, be light and happy about the subject. two, go all philosophical and make me tune out immediately. 2 is definitely too much for me. i don't mind being serious, but i prefer being fun.

so.

needless to say. i'm avoiding baddate now.

i think the next time i'll attempt the bimbo thing. 'i'm like, totally into like, painting my nails! totally! and making sure like, my nails match like, my bag!' hee hee.

maybe will even adopt different persona at different times! haha. that's fun.

think i prefer hanging out with self absorbed people right now. i.e. people who have problems, and talk about them 24/7. okay la, not really self absorbed, but people with things on their mind and want to talk about them. at least that keeps my mind off whatever i am apt to think of.

what a horrible friend i am. haha.
