When do we draw the line again?

From declaring things that we don't need to know after the first date.

And using the L word at that.

Yesterday I went on a date with J. It's a first date, though we've seen each other around. He wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. I thought he was a pretty nice person. I had no romantic interest in him at all. But I thought he could be fun to hang out with.

It was nice, we watched a movie, had dinner. He sent me back. It was nice, really. Just nice. Nothing exciting.

Then this morning, I received a text message from him saying 'I love you'

It was like a punch to my stomach.

There are some things which you keep quiet about, cause it's inappropriate. And it makes me uncomfortable. And now I don't know what to do. This is only the 2nd time I've encountered the L word in my life from someone who is the opposite sex. The first time I think I slammed the phone.

God this is so bad ... so bad.
